In order to effectively compete with larger banks and dispel misconceptions about geographic limitations, SVB sought a cohesive brand strategy that would unite its diverse business lines and highlight its distinct position as the preferred bank for global growth businesses.
Initially engaged to strategize for its Foreign Exchange business, my team crafted a central brand narrative that seamlessly unified the various business lines under the compelling umbrella of "The Bank of the Global Innovation Economy." After devising a range of solutions, including email marketing, thought leadership, collateral, and online materials, we implemented a comprehensive integrated marketing program. This initiative aimed to articulate SVB's unique strengths to a broad audience, encompassing current and prospective clients, employees, local and regional communities, regulators, and other stakeholders.
These endeavors ultimately led to my team's appointment to design the inaugural edition of the firm's Corporate Responsibility report, a project that evolved into the creation of a more comprehensive ESG report.
